Maya Ubud, Bali - renovation schedule

Maya Ubud will have some renovation works as per below information.

Maya Ubud has two large swimming pools, one in the upper central area along side the main restaurant and the other adjacent to the spa on the river’s edge. Unfortunately we find that a number of floor tiles in the upper pool have come loose and the only means to repair properly will necessitate the draining of the pool. After careful consideration we have decided on the period  Thursday, November 24 until Wednesday, December 14, 2011 to close this pool (which includes the children’s pool) to carry out this repair. Work will be carried out between the hours of 8.00 am & 5.00 pm daily during this period.

In order to minimize any inconvenience this may cause during your stay, we will open the pool of our Petanu Presidential Villa as an option for all guests to use and place additional chaise longue and umbrellas around the pool deck and garden area. Noise should not be an issue as no machinery, other than a cement mixer will be used on the site and we have instructed the contractors that the cutting of all stone and tile must be done off site where possible.

We just need you to be aware prior to your arrival in Bali, that this work will be in progress during your planned visit. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
