A private consulting company specializing in the implementation of international tsunami safety standards has recently certified the Intercontinental Bali Resort as "tsunami ready". The certification was issued following a series of intensive simulation exercises and evacuation drills. Tsunami Ready is actively supported by the Bali Hotels Association (BHA) and cooperates with the Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
