The Legian Bali Announces Renovation

The Legian is commencing renovation on the 3rd week of February until May 30th 2012.
The process will commence as below details :
Hotel rooms
•    2 blocks of suites will be taken out of the inventory of the hotel, hence, the resort will be operating with only 35 suites. Phase 2 will commence January 2013 for the remaining 2 blocks
•    The works in progress will not affect the other 2 blocks which are operationally open, as the works involved encompass following:
o    New bathroom fixtures (taps, toilets, mirrors, etc.)
     o    Complete new lighting
     o    Complete overhaul of A/C

Public Areas
•    Removal of overgrown, old and too shady trees to be replanted with mature trees
•    Landscaping of the front and back gardens as well as hotel entrance to improve the grounds and make them more tropically lush

The works will not infringe much on the guest experience as the resort has been doing much of the similar tasks in the past.

New Adult Lap Pool
The aforementioned pool will have days where the works will be noisier than others. The front sunset lawn area will be dug out (by hand) hence no machinery will be placed on the grounds to cause unsightly views and unwanted noise. To avoid having to watch the work, a barrier is set between the top and the bottom pool, hence, for a few months, though the pool is open and operating fully, there will not be the infinity view to the ocean as usual.

Wading pools
Behind both the Ocean and Pool bars, the current fish ponds will be revamped into beautiful water gardens, with the far right and left corners transitioned for wading pools for small babies, separated by a low wall to allow for small children to play in shallow pools. This will enable the Legian to have 3 pools for kids and allow the new lap pool to be fully an adult pool only.
